A ghost posting on my behalf
Friday, February 2, 2007 at 2:41 | In Blogosphere, Web tools | 15 CommentsTags: Technorati
I was complaining the other day about the bad performance of Technorati. Since Technorati was actually down for maintenance when I posted my complaint, I decided to give them the benefit of doubt and just ran a search of this blog. And what can I see?.
If I am to believe Technorati, I have not made a single post in this blog since 3rd November 2006. That is in 90 days. If that is true then what the hell are you reading right now? A ghost post?
It is one thing to call themselves a blog search engine. Anybody can do that. They may look like a blog search engine and smell like a blog search engine but it would be fine if they also worked like a blog search engine is supposed to.
I am not expecting them to answer something as ancient as my support request of 27th July 2006, [Feedback] Error report #37751]. They would probably have answered it by now if they had an answer. I would be happy if they just got their act together and showed some performance.

Thirsty so far. But I just bought the first beer of today.

And I thought ghosts didn’t neet to eat or drink.

I drink beer because I like it, not because I would have to.

So you like being thirsty?
Comment by Andre Heinrichs — Saturday, February 3, 2007 #
Thirst is useful and good for our health. It sends a message from our body that we need to drink. I like to drink which is why being thirsty is good. It reminds me that I need to drink.

The kind of drinking you’re supposed to do doesn’t include alcoholic bewerages.
Comment by Andre Heinrichs — Saturday, February 3, 2007 #
True, and I do not drink them everey day.

Thank you, both of you, for pointing out that I need to clarify my relation with beer and tobacco.
Thomas, you seem to promt a post which would spell out why Finland is not a cheap country to live in. Maybe you are going to see such a post soon. Aber nicht weil ich bier drinke.

Und auch nicht wenn ich ein bischen getrunken bin. That would object my integrity.
