Bloglines announces a new gadget. Any RSS capable site can be subscribed to Bloglines with one single click.

I guess this is cool. But the down side is that it only works with IE 7. So who would use it? I do not know anybody who would know somebody who would use Internet Explorer.

  1. You are so right. I don’t even know anybody who knows anybody who might have only thought of using IE.

  2. Now that you mention it, Thomas, the German premiers could have compromized with the GEZ tax to computers hooked up to Internet. They could have imposed the tax only on computers using IE 😉

  3. btw: They always talk about PCs. Since I only have a Mac I think they don’t want me to pay. 😉

  4. Right now I have a whole lot of browsers to choose from (Safari, Firefox, Camino,….) that I would not even think about using IE (which wouln’t run natively on the Macbook anyway)

  5. You are a lawyer so I suppose you could try that approach. However, at least Heise online writes about “Internet-fähige Computer und Mobiltelefone”. You would surely not suggest that a Mac is not “Internet-fähig” and/or a computer?

  6. Andre, as I published this same post in my Estonian blog, it was mentioned in the comments that this gadget might work with Firefox RC3 or even Firefox 2.0 but I have not as yet had a chance to check it out.

  7. Grmpf. It’s such a pity.

  8. […] I have a hunch that this feature is going to be much more appriciated among the Firefox users than the similar gadget for those perverts who prefer IE 7. […]
