According to Stern, Germany is the second after USA in the World to export devices for administering electrical shocks. The output of such a device is up to 130.000 volts which would cause extreme pain. It is a particularly convenient instrument to be used for torture since it leaves no visible track on the victim’s body.
German torture instruments have been bought by countries like Romania, Georgia, Bangladesh and Iran.
