Sego and Sarko ahead

Nicolas Sarkozy is the front runner of the French presidential election followed by Segolene Royal. According to initial results, Sarko got 30 % of the popular vote in the first round against 26 % for Sego. The second round is going to take place on 6th May.

Assuming that most supporters of Francois Bayrou would support Sarko, he could be considered as the favorite for the second round. Then again, almost anything can happen during a two week period of intensive campaigning.
