Obama battling on two fronts

Attacked by both McCain and Clinton, Obama gets to experience the position of a front runner. As I have said before, McCain’s chance to get elected depends on who he is running against: he would more easily beat Clinton than Obama. In absence of serious republican opposition, McCain can afford to focus on Obama, hence indirectly supporting Clinton in his own interest.
